Indian Soldiers in WW1
Chattri Group Grant Award








The Chattri Memorial Service

Dedicated to the Indian soldiers who fought on the Western Front during the First World War.



On the Downs near Patcham, Brighton (Standean Lane, Patcham, Brighton, BN1 8ZB)

Sunday 9th June 2019 2.00pm for 2.30pm start.
In addition, entry to the Royal Pavilion on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th will be half-price local residents’ rate if you're attending the Memorial Service. Visitors attending the ceremony will just need to quote the word “Chattri” on arrival at the ticket office. Details for the Royal Pavilion can be found at brightonmuseums.org.uk

All are welcome to attend this half hour service, believed to be the only one of its kind in Britain.

Refreshments and exhibition at a nearby venue after the ceremony.
